Lions Den Seed is a supplier and producer of high quality seed potato!
Lions den Seed was founded in 2015 and is based in Mashonaland west, in the Central North of Zimbabwe.
In 2018 we partnered with Agrico from the Netherlands to broaden the potato variety market in Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique.
Today; we have a variety portfolio for each market demand, from fresh retail market to French fries and crisping processing market. Each variety in our portfolio has been extensively tested in the Southern African region and proven to be a success.
At our farm in Lions Den, near Chinhoyi we treat and multiply and transform high class imported seed from the Netherlands into quality Zimbabwean certified seed potatoes. This is being done all-year-round, which provides the opportunity to always have access to adequate quantities of top-quality seed potatoes.
Lions Den Seed not only supplies high quality seed potatoes, but also provides knowledge transfer and practical training. We work together with farmers and our partners to scale up a sustainable potato value chain in Southern Africa region.
